Birthday Cards

Oh my, I'm so far behind in my projects! I took the PaperCrafts magazine I was working from last month and started working through more of the 'scetchs' they have and think they turned out great. I made two birthday cards, one thinking of you, and a blank card.


This was made from the 'Stamping' soultions cartridge. It turned out to be very simple and I love the way the colors look together.

This was made from scraps of paper and some ribbon, I cut the bird out using "Straight from the Nest". The card is blank inside so I can do anything with it!

This is the first birthday card I did, the only thing I used my cricut for was to cut the stars, everything else was cutting using a paper cutter.

Another birthday card, this was also cut using the 'Stamping' solutions cartrige and I just layered the different sections of the cupcake. This only too about 10 minutes to do, so it was prefect!!

Even More Sunday Cards!

The outside of the card ...The inside of the card... I just love how this card turned out, all the cutouts are from the "Stamping" cartridge and then flowers are from the piece of paper I have wanting to do something with for a LONG time!

Both the 'missing you' and they dragon fly are from the 'Stamping' cartridge, there are so many things to try out on this cartridge and I think it's a really good pick. Full of great sentiments for all kinds of cards!

More Sunday Cards

This is a thank you card using the card kit I got in the mail, I love the stripes and think I'll do a few birthday cards in these colors for all the boy birthdays!!

The butterflies and the "love you" both came off the "Stamping" cartridge I just on in the mail (for free with my cricut rewards points!) I'm still working on it but love the way this turned out.

I got the idea for this card from the last "Card Maker Magazine" they used a real coke can, but I thought I would cut myself and then whoever was opening the card would cut themselves also. I just know that kind of people ;) So I made the flowers from an 12 pack coke box and added the "Hello" from the Stamping cartridge. My sister on a mission loves coke and I'm going to send her this card this week!

Volley Ball Project!!!

I made 13 of these cute volley ball tags for a volley ball team! The volleyballs are 4 inches and the girls are 3 1/2 inches, when they were finished they each had their number on the jersey and their name on the back. They were then laminated and had a hole punched in them so they could have a key chain attached and they would be able to put them on their gym bags. I didn't get a picture of the whole finished project for some reason (so you'll have to trust me there were 13!).

Mother's Day!!

I used the glass etching cream that came with my new cricut to make some vases for Mother's Day. I did two of the taller square size and one small vase. The "mom" cutout is from "Beyond Birthday's" and everything else is from "Straight from the Nest".

I was surprised how easy the glass etching was! I can't wait to do some more, I just have to figure out what I would use it for, hmmm.

More Birthday Cards

These are the three Alison did using the "Paper Pups" cartridge, I was surprised how many cute things there were! I can't wait for her to come back and make some more cards with it!

My friend Alison came by again and we got another seven cards done for her work project! I think that's almost half way done for the year. I only did four of these cards, but the other three were so cute I wanted to post them (but not take credit for them!).

The three bird cards were done using the "Straight from the Nest" cartridge, my new favorite! And the card with the present was using a new cartridge (can't remember the name) that I don't love, but I was determined to use it for something!

Scrap Pages - finally!

The first page is for my sisters book (5 pages done, I'm hoping to have about 18 done before she gets home) She has been sending a lot of photos with other missionaries so I thought this would be cute. The tree, sentiment and the birds are from "Straight from the Nest".

The other two pages are from Thanksgiving in 2008! We went to a park by my in-laws house and then (of all things) broke a pinata, very fun! "Happy Thanksgiving" was from the 'Wild Card' cartridge, the leaves and acorns are from "Doodlecharms".

I'm really hoping to get one more page for Kellie's book done today, but also need to do a card for my niece (since she was pretty bummed at dinner tonight).

Tweetheart

I made this card with my new machine! It's for my sister in Ohio - and I LOVE it!!! This was using the "Wild Card" cartridge for the card/bird. Then the "Straight from the Nest" for the heart and the sentiment. I am loving being able to make my own envelopes, but I'm going to have to invest in a lot more tacky tape!

Graduation!

I made these two graduation cards for a cute lady I work with! She needed one for a boy and one for a girl. I thought they turned out really cute!

The tree card/envelope is from the 'Wild Card' cartridge with the little bird in the tree. The graduate card is from "Everyday Paper Dolls" & the sentiment came from the "Wild Card" cartridge.

One Year Page

I made this simple page for my sister! I almost think it need a little something else, but I can decide if that's just because it doesn't have any photos in it yet! I only used one cartridge (doodlecharms) for this page and some stickers and a stamp I had. I bought the stamp about 6 months ago and knew I wanted to use it for something (just wasn't quite sure what) but this seemed appropriate.

Birthday Cards!

I spent Saturday last week making cards with my friend Alison, she is now on the 'Birthday Committee' at her new job and took on the assignment of making 8.5 by 11 cards for all the 51 people in her department! So we got a good start on Saturday and finished 14 cards! I'm taking credit for all of them, because I did most of the work. (hehe!)

I have a few close up shots and then some group shots of these cards, there were to many to do an individual shot for each one! Alison brought them to work on Monday and they were a huge hit! Her boss has already picked out which card she wants for her birthday. So this has put me way ahead of schedule, and Alison will be coming by this Saturday as well to do some more simple cards (we do need a total of 51!).

Poster Board!

I worked on this for about 3 hours last night! It's for an auction my co-worker is organizing for her daughters school. All of the text is from 'Cuttin' Up', and of course the "Everyday Paper Dolls' in the lower left hand corner.

I finally got a new camera, and you can really see the difference in the pics of these cards!

I made these three birthday cards this weekend. I have been working my way through my latest Paper Crafts magazine, I am trying to use each of the 'sketches' they have and do my own take on it. So far I think they have turned out pretty cute!

Very bad picture of a very cute card

I used the 'everyday paper dolls' cartridge for this and made two cute girl missionaries! The skirts are a little short, but I LOVE it! I didn't see how bad this pic came out until I had already put the card in the mail.

But, I got a new camera! So better pictures from now on!!

A co-worker is recovering from surgery and I made her this cute get well card from the "Everyday Paper Dolls" cartridge!
